I believe Bernie was always in cahoots with Hillary to be an even farther lefty than Hillary foil, so as to allow Hillary to appear somewhat moderate in comparison.
When Bernie refused to go after Hillary when the illegal private server was discovered, and he claimed that it was a non-issue, he pretty much stated that he was part of the Hillary re-election campaign.
Everyone, yes everyone, knows how crooked and unethical the DNC is and in fact Democrats in general.
Bernie was in on the screwing over from the start.
He had no expectation of being the nominee or the president, except maybe momentarily when he so overperformed against her.
But he was the stalking horse in it from the start as a) an excuse for the MSM to give Clinton billions worth of (fawning) coverage, and b) to help her look like a “moderate” for the general.
