Donald Trumps campaign manager Kellyanne Conway suggested Sunday night that members of Congress are being hypocritical in their condemnation of Donald Trump because theyve engaged in sexual harassment themselves.
In an interview with MSNBCs Chris Matthews, Conway repeated Trumps description of his lewd comments from 2005 as locker room banter.
Let me just explain to you as somebody who works for him and knows him well and has been alone with him many times. He is very gracious. Hes a gentleman. Ive never experienced that conduct, she said.
I would talk to some of the members of Congress out there ... when I was younger and prettier, them rubbing up against girls -- sticking their tongues down womens throats who -- uninvited, who didnt like it, she said. Yeah, youre saying, Yeah, because you know it was true, she added.

I don’t doubt what she says is true.
But you know what?
It’s going to reach a point of being ridiculous so much so that when these accusations come out, people are just going to roll their eyes and laugh.
And then focus on the REAL issues.
This may have had an effect the first time it was used, but wear it out and it will lose it’s effectiveness.
Kellyanne goes all in.
Washington D.C. is a den of a vipers.
Oh she was sweet to look at... still is. :-)
It sure is.
Congress is used to screwing everybody, without lubricant!
Agreed.
Let’s keep our eye on the ball. The stakes are far too high, and time is short.
She’s absolutely right. I loved her modesty in claiming that when she “was younger and prettier” she knew about this behavior. One of my friends was a secretary in the LBJ years and remembers the free-for-all among the Congress. It’s now coming home to bite them. Good!
Hypocrites never like being called-out for their hypocricy.
Strangely, of this bunch, the only one in prison now (AFAIK) is Hastert. (They all deserve to be in prison!)
Maybe that’s the whole idea...
She definitely knows the ropes - AND can name names, if they want to go that far, though a number of them are no longer in office but “leaking” their names in public could still cause some “name shamming” among our elites!
Eliminate regulations, regulatory agencies.
Simplify taxes. Cut IRS.
Negotiate to bring Trillions of Dollars home to invest here (in inner city).
Audit the FED. The FED has boxed itself in with zero % interest. It no longer has any Keynesian tools. Hence it is time to look at monetary structures for the future, not the past.
Appoint Supreme Court Justices who believe in the rule of law.
This is what this thread should be about.
Whore’s, liar’s, cheat’s, anti-American’s.....
“I dont doubt what she says is true.”
I do not either. It would be funny a hell if one of them was Paul Ryan.
The congressman who used to put his tongue down the throats of female constituents had to be Bob Filner. He was in congress for years before he became mayor of San Diego and subsequently forced from office. Oh, and he is a Democrat.
These politicians have proved that they are in this for the power, perks and payoffs. They have done nothing to stop Obama. Hypocrites, the majority of them. Have always been a faithful republican, but no more. I am tired of their fake shock. Good for Kellyanne for speaking up.
“And then focus on the REAL issues.”
IMHO, the REAL issues include the hypocrisy and incompetence of the current elitist oligarchy, on both sides of the aisle. It would appear that most people in public office are not fit to be there. The electorate is coming around to this conclusion, and I think you are correct that people are starting to roll their eyes - because they don’t trust most career politicians - and they shouldn’t, IMHO.
Wasn’t Bob Packwood famous for doing this?
