A lot of people are way past that point. I think that the MSM and the DNC don't really comprehend how much they are loathed by anyone right of center. They may be starting to get an inkling, however, and I think it's giving them just a little bit of pause.

I think a lot of this is going on. For years the left has played on the better nature of the right, which is generally more inclined to civility and politeness, but the thin veneer of civility is getting pretty threadbare.

A lot of people are, at a minimum, quite ready to deal with the left with the very same measure they've dealt with us with. Trump is doing some of this, if you pay attention to his tactics, and it's one of the reasons there's so much panic. They don't have the institutional knowledge or know how to deal with it when it's turned back on them.
