Actually one of those passed was about renaming some Post Office, and a second one was about renaming a road or street.
I was going to say (related to the Post Office renaming) that her legislative “achievements” were for trivial matters.
And oh BTW, of those three, were any actually CONSTITUTIONAL?
30 years of public service. quite a resume.
I thought it was only 1. Two others had been passed by the Senate, but not by the House.
And the third was setting something aside as a historical site. Wow! What accomplishments!
S. 3613.
It renamed the postal building for the USPS located on New York Highway 43 in Averill Park, New York City.
It’s now the Major George Quamo Post Office Building.
Now, I will admit....Quamo did some brave things (he was at the battle of Kham Duc in 1967). It would have been considered a major US defeat if air-power hadn’t been applied in the later stages of the battle.
What I suspect is if you went and forced every senator to go and list what they’d accomplished in a normal six-year period....it’d never go past one page. If you asked them to list interviews on the talk-show circuit....it might go three to five pages.
Very true. It’s all about them.
Of course we should all be thankful that this is the extent to which her crazy ideas became law.
She also got 1/4 mile stretch in I-95 named for Tim Russert. Yay.......
Go look at what you pay each Senator, their travel allowance, their support staff, etc. Each guy is getting at least two to three million in money to go and do what they do. So, what’s the results? If you wrote this up on a resume for six years of work, and asked me as the boss for pay-raise or promotion....I’d just laugh you out of the office. Appearing on TV....isn’t much of a talent, if you ask me.
Channeling her inner Lincoln again?
And look at how many in congress become rich while “serving”. Their families too.
Not bad, not bad at all . . .
ping!
And for that we should be thankful.
Astonishingly, 99.8% of Hillary flying monkeys have no clue what "parsing" means. Nor will they ever be capable of understanding.
Technically accurate, but totally misleading, and simply a clever lie.
How many concerned naming a post office?
