The smartest man to ever sit in that office, and yes, I include Thomas Jefferson. Ask any old DC hand.

I recently watched some of his interviews in which he was commenting on some of our history in the 60s and 70s. He was indeed highly intelligent. Much maligned by history. I think a lot of people would be shocked if they saw some of these videos, read his books.

Gents, thanks for the perspective and video of which I forgot. I never realized he was that smart. I get why the left hated him. A dear friends of mines dad was a "B" rated actor who knew Reagan and sung his praises as he opened up an HMO and treated him like a king. My friend recalls his dad saying Ronald Reagan was a good man a man of labor. Tangent to this his dad said yes their are communist in Hollywood, they want me to join the party all the time.

Isn't it ironic, Nixon / Joe McCarthy were right and that in their quest to destroy Nixon, Hillary was on that team? And now Dole stand with Trump who metaphorically wants to put a stake in the heart of a certain Socialist Beast? ;-)

Either I am off my rocker, or this is bigger than any of us or anything we imagined...
