A Senate candidate was booed and jeered as he publicly disavowed his support for Donald Trump and asked the Republican nominee to step down on Saturday.
Speaking at a campaign event, Nevada Republican Rep. Joe Heck — who is currently running to replace Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid — said he could no longer support Trump due to the nominee’s past behavior and comments. “I cannot in good conscience continue to support Donald Trump nor can I vote for Hillary Clinton,” Heck said to boos.

He wants amnesty because it helps his church (The Mormons) to cotinue to bring their “converts” into this country from Mexico and all points South. After Reid, Romney, Flake, Mike Lee, Jason Chaffetz and now Heck, the country would do well to never elect another Mormon to national office. And I am ashamed to say that I was brought up in Mormonism.

These guys are asking for a revolution. Trump was elected to run for president. They cannot take away MY vote because he STILL offends them.

If you guys attempt to remove Trump as the GOP candidate for president I swear to you not one Republican will get my vote in any race from national to county.
I cast my vote and so did millions of others and you are not going to void my vote. Is Trump a flawed person, yep, and so am I. I think you will see that we will fight you tooth and nail and you will never recover and we will start a new party.
If you think I’m cutting off my nose to spite my face I ask show, in action, not rhetoric where there is a dime’s worth of difference between Democrats and Republicans.
Trump has given a vision for the future of America that I like and no one else has.

I’ve already let Mr. Heck know what I think of him. And I assured him I would vote for his opponent.
I have a feeling Nevada will vote Trump and democrats down ticket. We don’t have a republican worth spit here.
I can’t believe there are this many people on FR who still think that elections are about “sending a message”, or about acting like a rebellious teenager and refusing to vote.
The NV Senate Race gives us a choice between Joe Heck and Catherine Cortez Masto.
There is no possibility of voting “Neither” and having both of them lose, only to get a do-over later.
One of those two will replace Harry Reid.
Heck isn’t anything to write home about, but Masto is a crooked, incompetent, hard-left, pro-abort, pro-illegal, nut-bag Lib.
Flame me if you wish; but I think people need to grow up and realize that politics is often about electing the least-flawed candidate, and then applying public pressure to keep them from going off the reservation as much as possible.
If you live in NV, put on your big-boy pants and vote for Heck. Otherwise, you will wake up to find your new Senator, Catherine Cortez Masto, is worse than Reid.
In Hillary’s defense, she doesn’t really sleep with him...except at boring public events.
