> Is a local TV station report and a local businessman who saw surveillance video it enough?
Nope.
The surveillance video that accompanies the story just shows three people beating up one, it’s so low resolution and so short in duration that you can’t even tell if there are cops involved at all or what is happening.
Which is REALLY REALLY ODD given that a little research shows this particular business has a security camera system with much much higher resolution.
Same location, same business, which you can confirm by reading the hat of the man labeled “Merchant” in the news story.
And if you look into “Louis Rainone”, you find a few interesting things. One, he doesn’t appear to exist anywhere outside of this story. Two, he is the spitting image of one John Joseph Rainone, convicted mobster (as was his father). Three, there is a murder convict of the same name and same town from 1986.
I call BS on this story. This is a cover-up of a CPD screw-up.
You really are one ignorant individual.
You’re actually suggesting the two other cops who were also injured and transported to the ER were all faking it and in on the hoax as well? Really? Was Chicago brass, who routinely visit injured officers in the hospital also in on this hoax? How about the paramedics who transported them? No record of that, they were all in on it too? How about the video of the attack? All a hoax? How about the vehicle which struck the business, was that also part of this elaborate hoax? How about all the witnesses, who clearly had to be present in day time big city environment like this. And I guess the physicians who treated all the hoaxsters were all in on it too!
Wow...
I really had to read your bull sh*t closely, to make sure your weren’t be sarcastic and joking. What a piece of work you are.
