Jeff Sessions thinks the United States Senate should investigate the FBI for its handling of the probe into Hillary Clinton’s email server, specifically the way the bureau granted Cheryl Mills immunity and appeared to destroy evidence pertinent to the investigation

It's meant as a proof, ironclad, of treason -- though the salient point can be said in a single sentence:
The institution of the Iran Deal w/o its removal from the official list of State Sponsors of Terrorism, publicly and officially acknowledged enemies of the several states, is Treason.

But stating it this way it becomes more of an assertion than a proof.

If he did, then he openly committed Treason. (The Iran Deal gave aid and comfort to Iran.)

While the Corker amendment was a terrible violation of the Constitution, it doesn't naturally/easily fall into the Constitution's own definition of Treason.
But you are correct in that it is the bill itself that the Corker amendment was attached to, which gave aid and comfort to the enemies of the States, while affirming —to some degree— the continuation of of the status of enemy.
