NYT Best-Selling Author Exposes Hillary’s Pay-to-Play Scandal

It isn’t cheap to get on Hillary Clinton’s good side, but if you’ve got enough money to make a million-dollar donation to the Clinton Foundation, you are set. Say goodbye to federal regulations or bureaucratic red tape. Make a donation, get on Hillary’s good side, and you are in. This is pay-to-play, and it goes against every ethics standard in the book. No wonder Hillary Clinton lives by it. In his new book, Guilty as Sin, Ed Klein exposes Hillary’s pay-to-play scandals and how she turned the Clinton Foundation into a subsidiary of the State Department.

It didn’t take too much digging to find out that Hillary was requiring pay-to-play tactics while she was the secretary of State. It was certainly no secret from the people around her, though the mainstream media never would have reported it.

A retired Foreign Service Officer who had worked closely with Hillary told Klein, “I got a heads-up from my attorney that the FBI wanted to interview me about Hillary, and specifically about her conflict of interest handling Clinton Foundation business while she was running the nation’s foreign policy.”

This isn’t a partisan issue. This is about ethics and the legal standard someone holding such a high office should be held to. No one, Republican or Democrat, should be using their position as secretary of State to make millions of dollars for themselves and their family’s foundation.

The same retired Foreign Service Officer agreed, saying, “I’m a Democrat and supporter of Hillary for president, but I was deeply resentful that she carried out family foundation business so openly when she was at State. It was as though being secretary of State was her part-time job, while her first priorities were raising money for her presidential run, which she was planning from day one, and raising money for the Clinton Foundation."

Some of the pay-to-play scandals described by Klein in Guilty as Sin include Hillary’s younger brother receiving special favors by the U.S. government for an electric car company currently owned by Clinton crony Terry McAuliffe. That same younger brother, Tony Rodham, was appointed during Clinton’s time at the State Department to the advisory board of VCS Mining, which then received a gold-mining contract in Haiti.

Also while she was secretary of State, Hillary helped Boeing secure a $35 billion contract with the Air Force. In return, Boeing donated $900,000 to the Clinton Foundation and paid Bill Clinton $450,000 for two speeches.

The biggest scandal of them all is likely the Canadian businessman who donated millions to the Clinton Foundation and was rewarded with permission to sell 20 percent of the U.S. uranium production capacity to Russia. Then, to show his gratitude, Clinton was invited to give a speech in Moscow for a small paycheck of $500,000. You can smell the corruption all the way across the Urals.

“She had no qualms, because she said that the work she did at State and the work she was doing for the foundation and the Global Initiative were related and complemented each other.”

These are only some of the numerous pay-to-play scandals that Ed Klein exposes in his new book, Guilty as Sin: Uncovering New Evidence of Corruption and How Hillary Clinton and the Democrats Derailed the FBI Investigation. Buy it wherever books are sold and brush up on your Clinton scandals and scams before she scams her way into the White House.

There has been a solution for that I’ve been touting for years. All political donations must be ANONYMOUS. You can’t sell influence if you don’t know who’s buying.

Americans should be permitted to donate to any party or candidate they choose, in any amount they wish. That is FREEDOM. But demanding an outcome in return for a donation is BRIBERY, a CRIME. “Pay to play” is bribery, period.

The same retired Foreign Service Officer agreed, saying, “I’m a Democrat and supporter of Hillary for president....”

And that’s the problem. This guy knows she’s corrupt and he hates that she did it but he’ll still vote for her.
