The thing is Kaine wasn’t showing who he was, you could tell, go watch the debate... Watch his mannerisms, body language, voice inflection. Every time he went on one of his attacks it changed completely... He knew he was lying!!! He knew it and did it anyway and unlike Hillary is a very bad liar.
Every once in a while Kaine would be Kaine for a few sentences and was being honest and authentic and his demeanor, mannerisms, voice, body language would all change.. And then he would remember I need to launch some talking point attack and boom they would all change again... He looked completely inauthentic every time he attacked. He knew he was lying, but did what he was told to do.
I challenge you go back and mute your TV and rewatch, you see a man who knows he is lying... Every single attack on Trump he knew was a lie and mischararization. You could see it, he wasn’t authentic in any of it, and it was subconsciously if not consciously eveident to anyone watching.
Go ahead, I challenge anyone.. You can see him shift everything about him when he is speaking of how he truly feels about something (which happened a few times in the debate briefly) then he changes completely when he goes into one of the talking point attacks.
He knew he was mishcaraterizing and lying, which he was told to do, but unlike Hillary who can lie without missing a beat, Kaine isn’t as good of a liar... He has all sorts of tells... He came across as a complete fake.
You are spot on. They have the sound bites of the attacks and that is what hey will run with.
Yep, I agree with you. He is not the career liar Hillary is so he’s not very good at it. Everything about his performance was so canned and cheesy. I almost felt bad for him that the campaign put him up to it.
Whatever the case, I really feel like Pence stabilized things again. Even if it’s just the way I feel, I’m feeling much more comfortable today after the debate.
All Trump needs is an index card with about 5 or 6 words about the hag on them and he needs to answer a question put to him if relevant, otherwise reject the premise of the question as petulant and partisan and then take one of the 5 or 6 words about the Hag and launch on her and the moderators if they get in the way.
