I took it for a few years and the coughs were sometimes uncontrollable.

Wow. I didn't know about any of those side-effects on some of those drugs. I had a bad reaction to Buspar and Norvasc when they first tried it on me, but that was due to my BP bottoming out if I did things like get out of a chair too fast. My doc put me on furosemide when I started to develop edema in my lower extremities, but I stopped taking it when I got a bad staph infection in my leg - couldn't make it to the bathroom fast enough because I had to lean on a cane. Wet shorts/dry shorts scenario. I went back on it for the first time in over two years, and I already lost a full pant size and backed into three pairs of pants I forgot I had. LOL
