Before you get off on a tangent, I was merely pointing out that the 2A has no age requirement. Whether or not you agree with that is a different issue.
What about the other Constitutionally protected rights - which one of those shouldn’t ‘kick in’ before a certain age?
Can you imagine the gov’t restricting the ability for 10 year olds to peaceably assemble, exercise free speech, etc.? How about unreasonable searches and seizures (4A) - what is the correct age an American has to be so that a judge can no longer ignore probable cause when issuing a warrant?
It’s equally absurd for these rights to expire simply because one has reached a certain age as well.
