A “for-real” CPA advised him with that huge a tax loss to credit $45,811 of his tax refund to the 1996 estimated payment? Boy that is not like any CPA I have ever had advice me.
This is beginning to smell like a forgery.
I think the IRS has been leaking to democrats for a while now... The old FBI - the one that was honorable - would look into it and bring charges against anyone in the IRS breaking the law.
The ‘new’ FBI will give ‘em a pass...

Why should I care about them? 21 years old. Supposedly lost $900+ million.... well, I guess that’s what 4 years of a Clinton administration will do to you, right?
Further, without having the succeeding years’ returns, THERE IS NO WAY TO TELL IF MR. TRUMP EVER CARRIED THE LOSS FORWARD OR NOT.

Only if they are leaking Trump’s or any other republican/conservative tax returns. . .now, if the leaked a liberal/clintoon tax returns, this same FBI would be mowing down the leaker. . .
If published by the New York Times, then there is a lawsuit to be filed against the New York Times. Period.

Yes. What I have learned today is that it actually is illegal to publish a tax return whose release was unauthorized. Someone here had suggested that the source was liable, but not the New York Times. That is not the case. The New York Times could be in deep trouble. Trump could demand such monetary penalties that the Times might not even be able to survive. That may not happen. But, isn’t it pretty to think so?
