How come there are no muslims in Star Trek?
Because it is in the future.

Reminds me of the joke supposedly told at a peace talk once between the Israelis and the Palestinians. Before the israeli minister began, he told the audience he would like to open with a little joke. He said, “once upon a time long ago, Moses was very hot from traveling across the desert. They came to an oasis and Moses decided he would cool off in the water. He removed his clothing, hung it on a tree, and went for a swim. As he came out, he saw his clothing was gone from the tree. Just then, an Israeli boy cried out, “I saw everything! It was the Palestinians! The Palestinians took your clothes!”
At this point in the story, the Palestinian minister stopped the Israeli. “Nonsense! There were no Palestinians at that time!”
The Israeli smiled, and said, “Now that we’ve got that established, let’s begin the talks.”
Because it is in the future.
Both Robert Heinlein and Frank Herbert wrote many stories where the religion of the future was islam.
Just read Dune, it's filled with muslim imagery.
