Putin sees Obama just as I see Obama - an entitled, urban, post-modern American socialist, who has more loyalty to his strange black liberation and leftist ideology than his own nation. Putin also sees a man because of his disloyalty to his own nation, who, rather than leading, will hide behind the organs of power like NATO, the EU, the Federal Reserve, to make trouble and chaos in the world.
You can’t trust such people, and you can only protect yourself and your country from them, which Putin is doing.

Because all they did was defend an ally against our proxy attack and keep us from openly bombing the Syrian army. Our senior national security people are utterly insane and literally want a shooting war with Russia in Syria. They think it will easily be contained there.
We haven’t had such a nutty star chamber since Lemay and Lemnitzer wanted to do a nuclear first strike on Russia.
If they did it was because they were targeting ISIS. The author selectively leaves out pertinent details. This is generally called Agitprop, which I believe is the portmanteau version of agitation propaganda.
