Nasty wreck. I tend to agree with the preliminary "not terrorism" conclusion. at least one fatality according to scanner traffic, 100+ injuries, I'd guess a score of them serious.

If the wreck had been at high speed, the train cars would be all twisted up and scattered. That does not appear to be the case.

My take from listening to the news - I am not at any particular advantage in viewing the scene.

Looks like we were posting about the same time.

I would tend to agree that it’s probably not terrorism at this point. Some said that the train did not slow down going into the station/terminal. From the little I know now, my speculation is that there was a technical issue with the train (brakes?) or something with the engineer (fell asleep, medical issue??).

Fox News is covering - Rick L at the station. Someone just said may be 3 fatalities. Some of the people critically injured, so there could be more fatalities.
