"Manuka"
When does the body wash come out?
“I’m hot, sticky sweet. From my head to my feet, yeah...”
Manuka Honey sounds like a Thai stripper.
One of my niece’s kids was in the NICU for the first few weeks of her life. When she came home, the poor baby had sores from the adhesive that had held the IVs in place. The NICU nurses recommended this honey for help in healing the sores. Evidently they use it in the hospital too. A small bottle is expensive, but it did work wonders on the baby’s sores.
Trader Joe’s has Manuka Honey for less than Whole Foods. It is not a high grade, but the price is right.
Colloidal silver is already used for burn victims in hospitals. It’s cheap and easy in a spray bottle, kills all the bugs right now.
So how much better is this "Special" honey from local clover honey?
Silver ions cause problems with proper skin regrowth. It does help kill germs, but it also appears to hurt the initial bedrock laying skin cells.
I've never read that. Link please.
Here’s one study:

Been using Manuka Honey MGO 100 along with acidophilus for my stomach going on 8 years.
It adds good bacteria an allows me to eat most any food.
Deadly bacteria, great. But, what about the ants?
It is $30 better
“All raw honeys have anti-bacterial properties. So how much better is this “Special” honey from local clover honey? “
It’s the name. Manuka sounds more exotic than clover.
LOL!
reepithelialization, why didn’t I think up that term.
Our Aldi store has clover honey 24 oz/$5. I like it in my coffee, with heavy cream. Yum!
I did a search and besides price there is a difference in antibacterial qualities. Bees pollinate the manuka plant the resultant honey has chemicals that are not found in regular honey. Lots of imitators out there. Look for UMF Lic number or UMF on jar. Minimum of +10 for MG (the chemical of concern)rating
