FBI’s Comey rejects call to reopen Clinton email case, refuses to say she’s truthful

FBI Director James Comey said he’s not going to reopen the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails, telling Congress on Wednesday that none of the recent revelations since he closed the case in July “would come near” to that trigger point.

Mr. Comey also said he couldn’t remember another instance where the subject of an investigation — Mrs. Clinton’s former chief of staff, Cheryl Mills, sat in on the FBI’s interview with another subject, in this case Mrs. Clinton.

But he also said that the FBI had no power to exclude someone from the interview, and he defended his agents’ handling.

“This looks like ordinary investigative process to me,” he said.

Why would you expect them to be any different than about 90% of their fellow government workers? (Individual state and local entities may vary, probably not for the better.)

I don't usually comment on people's looks, but this time is an exception.

Comey is usually not a bad-looking man. But I've noticed that when he speaks to Republican congressmen, he often contorts his face into an odd, twisted, snarly expression that could fairly be described as rodent-like.

So I laughed today when he said "I am not a weasel." He looked quite the weasel.
