Based on what? The French by far had the highest deaths in WWI among all the allies. The Brits and Germans have surrendered as much or more than the French. That’s simply a fact.
In fact, in the WWII battle for France, they fought hard and the British ran away at Dunkirk, leaving the French flank totally exposed.

A Muzzie-influenced, partially Sharia Law compliant Franco-German alliance will very possibly use their joint military capabilities within the decade to be far more of a nuke threat than the old USSR ever was.
