Thousands of Iran-backed fighters converge on Aleppo amid deadly Syria airstrikes

Published September 26, 2016

As deadly airstrikes pounded Aleppo, Syria over the weekend, a major foreign ground force was also converging on the region. As many as 3,000 Iranian-backed fighters have arrived in Aleppo supporting the Syrian regime in its fight to crush the rebellion, two U.S. officials confirm to Fox News.

There are an estimated 250,000 Syrian civilians trapped in Aleppo facing an onslaught of Russian and Syrian bombs, according to reports. The Iranian-backed Shiite militias include fighters from neighboring Iraq as well as Afghanistan, officials say. Many of those fighters had already been in Syria but recently descended on Aleppo.

And meanwhile our government (and "allies") are providing material support to Al Qaeda in Syria to overthrow the secular government there. The Al Qaeda commander in this interview even talks about the recent attack on the aid convoy (which a general at Pentagon said in a press conference that they have evidence was caused by Russian aircraft).

Interview with Jabhat al-Nusra (Al Qaeda) commander:

"Abu al-Ezz, commander, says about Jabhat al-Nusra (al-Qaeda): “We are one part of al-Qaeda. Our principles are: Fighting vice, pureness and security. Our affairs and our way have changed. Israel, for example, is now supporting us, because Israel is at war with Syria and with Hizbullah.

"To whom did the U.S. hand those missiles before they were brought to you? Were those missiles first given to the Free Syrian Army by the U.S. and from there to you?

No, the missiles were give directly to us. They were delivered to a certain group. When the “road” was closed and we were besieged we had officers here from Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Israel and the United States."

Obama was hoping the falling oil prices would have destroyed Russia economically but they survived. Now he is trying to draw Russia into an armed conflict through all this in Syria. It is my opinion that this will be devastating for both countries. It’s a path that will lead to nuclear war.

We are again providing air support to ISIS
https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/us-strikes-deir-ezzor-2nd-time-month/
I believe this may have been an attempt to,stop the Syrian/ allied govt advance
Wth were the Russians?
It’s just a matter of time before we have an air clash
People won’t care that a Russian plane downed a U.S. plane that was supporting ISIS - only that “ we “ were attacked by Russia

Yep. That is what the neocon and left interventionist scum want. And it closes debate, for the most part.
