It's freedom vs socialism.
Law and order vs anarchy and chaos.
National security, national sovereignty, national survival.
Constitution and the rule of law.
Consent of the governed.
Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
God, family, country.
Hillary represents the enemy within regarding all the important issues.
My 14-year old daughter saw through the BS and did NOT like her
Thanks Jim.
Not since Reagan have we had a situation where the MSM provides daily demonstrations of how out of touch Hillary and her Democrats are.
Carter had the Embassy Hostages. Hillary has terrorist attacks and the overrun of Europe, stories that do more than any debate to point the way forward: Trump For America.
Did anyone notice that HILLARY would spontaneously burst out in a GIANT grin? It was as though she was responding to a conversation with someone who was NOT TRUMP or THE MODERATOR.
Keeping his powder dry the first round. The fact that he stood toe to toe is a win. She exposed weaknesses and trump is one to exploit those weaknesses. There are two more debates. Let her feel cocky. All the better when he sees her next time.
There is something about Clinton’s cadence that is like fingernails against a chalk board. I cannot really explain it but her voice is such a complete turnoff. Sort of like listening to a bull dyke boss ordering you around. It’s sickening.
Illary won. She talked and talked and talked and did not pass out. That’s all she had to do to win this anti-Trump event by NBC.
I noticed she almost came out of her hypnotized state three times but the demon in control snapped her back on track and right quick.
But...that phony phony smile: almost an inhuman smile.
I think Hillary “won” the debate, or it was a tie. She was more polished and got her talking points out. Trump missed several excellent opportunities to hit her hard. He was more often on defense rather than taking the fight to her. Cybersecurity, for example, should have been a slam dunk for him.
However, I agree with you. It doesn’t matter who had a better technical performance in the debate. What matters is what the candidates stand for, and Hillary Clinton is clearly for more of the same. They are diametrically opposed in where they want to take the country on immigration, trade, taxes, etc. By investments, Hillary means more power to government to pick winners and losers. She means more taxes so that government can distribute to special interests. She wants to take on evil corporations who make the jobs Americans need.
Sorry, but I trust Trump. He’s got a much better vision of where the country needs to go.
Holt was an ass.
I don’t think Trump convinced even a single Clinton supporter to vote for him. And I don’t think Clinton convinced even a single Trump supporter to vote for her. And I don’t think there are very many truly undecided voters. At least 75% of those who say they’re considering voting third party know deep in their heart that they’re going to end up voting for either Trump or Hillary, and they already know which one, if they’re being totally honest with themselves. And this debate did nothing to convince them to switch. So the only possible effect it had was to convince a few of the 25% remaining third partiers to vote one way or the other, and I have no idea which way they would trend.
For Trump this was a 90 minute infomercial. The notion of scoring points and winning/losing matters to the media...but thats not what this was about for Trump.
I think the whole purpose of Trump’s presentation was to show a Presidential candidate versus anything Hitlery would present. He did that.
People remember how you make them feel, not what you said. Logic doesn’t matter. Facts don’t matter.
Trump made them feel good. Hiltery did not.

Amen!
When the debate started it was evident to me Mrs. Bill Clinton lost it when the witch addressed Donald Trump as “Donald” and he came back and addressed as Secretary Clinton.
Respect is a quality a person seeking the presidency should have.
thanks so much Jim!
You are always the ray of hope in dark times...what a wonderful mission God has sent you on—to keep the Warriors morale uplifted!!!!
I’d call it a draw. On to round 2.
Who “won” the debate is irrelevant. Clinton performed better, and was more polished. Trump missed some opportunities to undermine her, and will probably prepare more next time. But neither undermined their own campaign, nor did either “knock out” their opponent.
Clinton still comes across as an establishment insider, recycling the same policies. My wife used the word “condescending” to describe her.
I would be surprised if this debate strongly impacts the polling trends one way or another. Trump has gained because people do not like, no do they trust Mrs. Clinton.
Just my $0.02.
