I doubt it is the latter. Putting Trump in the lead is going to energize a lot of people who were maybe sitting on the fence. People tend to want to go with a winner and we've been told for months and months that there is "no path" for Trump to win. Even some people here on Free Republic were getting discouraged. So it's inexplicable that they would deviate from that narrative the day of the debate.
The polling news today really puts the pressure on Crooked Hillary to bring her "A" game. If she does poorly tonight, the floodgates will open.
Yes, they are going to make Hillary Clinton the comeback kid, coming back from her pneumonia, wow what a brave girl, and as long as she comes on stage and doesn’t drop dead she automatically wins the debate
