Libertarian vice presidential candidate Bill Weld said he was inundated with dozens of phone calls and emails last week telling him to drop out of his campaign for the White House, after rumors were planted by Hillary Clintons team that he might drop out of the race and endorse Clinton.
Obviously the call had gone out from somewhere, Weld, the former Massachusetts governor, said today during an appearance on Boston Herald Radio. And Ive got to think directly or indirectly, its from the Clinton campaign.

Johnson-Weld
It’s not just for John Bobbitt
Well this story really plays into my prediction. I think after Trump knocks it out of the park tonight, he may ask for the other two candidates to be part of the last two debates.
I hear they can pick up their party in Aleppo. ;-)
I have noticed that Clinton supporters are worried about Gary Johnson. Like they were about Ralph Nader
Why does this not surprise me? If you listen to her ads, she tells you what she is, liar, not presidential temperament material, doesn’t have any plans for this country...if you put Hillary in her Trump ads, it tells you all you need to know about Hillary...
I got 25 emails from people I dont know saying unless you renounce your candidacy immediately, youll spoil this and elect Donald Trump, and youll go down in history as a complete pariah and your name will be hissing and a byword over the generations. And your family will be in disgrace forever, Weld said.
Then on Monday, he added, they must have circulated my telephone at the office because I got 25 phone messages, phone calls believe me when I tell you I wasnt taking them saying the same thing.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
If Weld were to drop out, he would join Mrs. Bill. So he can stay in the race and be neutralized.
The Clintonites initially assumed that the Libertarian party would mostly cut into would-be Republican voters. Now that polls are showing that the majority of Johnson's supporters are actually Democratic-leaning independents (and that Trump polls better with Johnson in the race than without him) the Democrats and their media allies will go from propping up Johnson and trying to get him into the debates to finding every way possible to marginalize him.
That’s when he confirmed a lot of folks opinion of who Libertarians really are; Immature Coke Heads in three piece suits. This is not always true. Rand Paul wouldn’t have done this. I know Rand is now known as GOP, but he still leans Libertarian and probably always will. As Hank Williams sang;
“It’s (being a libertarian) A Family Tradition”.
I have no doubt he is correct. Johnson is taking more votes from Hillary than Trump. It only makes sense that the dimoKKKATS would go after him.
That ‘Illary is so keen to get the Libertarians out of the race tells you all you need to know about what her polling is saying about who they’re taking votes from.
Yep, and I’m going to guess Clinton internals are really bad in Colorado and maybe even New Mexico, due to Johnson.
Anyway, my prediction probably won’t come true, but it’d be funny :)
Is he initiating a mating ritual ?
Must be some sort of interplanetary sign language he picked up in his space travels.
I guess the Clinton camp also planted rumors that your immigration policy is identical to hers, and that your VP candidate is indistinguishable from her when he starts talking about how my guns need to be taken away by force.
Gary Johnson is burying the Libertarian campaign all on his own
