Do you remind revealing what is the name of the new medication you are on? My wife has the same issues you have. It’s a real pain for her being on Warfarin and maybe a different, even if more expensive, medication may be better for her. Thxs for the great post!

Xarelto. The other primary alternative appears to be Eliquis. (At least based on advertising.) Xarelto has been around long enough to attract lawsuits by trial lawyers. There are others as well. I found this page by searching. http://naturalbloodthinners.org/blood-thinner-medications-list/

There are other factors involved as well in switching from one med to another. My wife and I spent almost an hour talking to the doctor and asking questions before I made the change.
