This man does not look Hispanic to me. He looks of Middle Eastern background, perhaps Egyptian, Syria, Jordanian or Palestinian. Just because he is somewhat dark complected and has black hair does not make him Hispanic; somewhat surprised the press would go with this.

I agree. No way he is Hispanic. Maybe the media is claiming he is Hispanic because he is from the Middle East by crossed the Mexican boarder to get here.
That was my initial thought as well. He is not Hispanic!!

Looks maybe eastern Turkish, Bosnian muslim or a hint of Iraqi. Hispanic is not out of the equation but he looks more a shade of ethnic Arab IMO.
I blew up the picture to 400%. I think, having known ME people when I worked with ME people from the ME that I know ME people, and this guy looks ME to me. I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

I wonder if he is one of the “new arrivals”, that somehow got through the “robust vetting process”.
