I think enough time has passed I can reveal a few things publicly about my many encounters with Glenn.

I was invited on his show sometime around early 2010 when nis show had 3.5 million viewers (350 TIMES) that of CNN in a good hour. I gave him a copy of my “Patriot’s History of the United States” which he hadn’t read, but he read it over the weekend and called me back at home and told me how great it was. The next night he started holding it up every night on his show, saying what a great book it was. Sales exploded, and the book became a #1 NYT bestseller.

Glenn began to have me on the show every couple of weeks. We had dinner at his hotel in NYC. He began planning a weekly history segment with me. Producers called me 3-4 times a week.

Sometime in 2011 he began consulting heavily with David Barton, and everything changed. Barton wanted to be the history guy, began subbing for Glenn, and at the same time -—I think because of Barton-—Glenn started having these “restore” events. I think with that first event he began to see himself as a conservative MLK leading the masses.

And, for about two years, the masses followed. When he decided to leave Fox, I met with him again in NYC, pitching a series of programs for his new network, which I thought were not only very good but well budgeted and would have given his “network” some credibility. He rejected them, instead running him, Dana Zloesch, and Buck Sexton doing their radio shows.

Now that’s entertainment.

Barton got more influential. I can’t prove it but I think he had a key role in getting rid of Beck’s chief of staff and head of the charity, Joe Kerry. Barton then conveniently replaced Kerry. Next, they got rid of all of the top execs, including Chris Balfe and Joe Cheatwood (his media guy).

Beck’s company lost money hand over fist, by all accounts at least half that can be tied to his Trump derangement. But the TV/film stuff was terrible and the marketing plan not sensible. I think-—but cannot prove-—that Barton fed Beck’s derangement for his own purposes.

The last time I was on-—again with Barton as a “guest”-—they were discussing the 1920s and Germany, and he was trying to compare it to the US. Politically there was no connection in the way they were making: Germany was torn between communists, old line 19th century aristocrats, and a rising capitalist group of bankers. There were no “parties” as we understood it. Anyway, I kept providing the accurate historical record (in my view) and they didn’t want to hear it. I haven’t been invited back.

I think if one tracked Barton’s role in Beck’s collapse you would find he played a key part.

Isn't Barton the one that is now suing him?

Barton has always been good at make-believe history. A perfect fit for Beck.

Thanks for the input!
I had a feeling someone threw him off-track.
The RATS were clearly scared of him before he left FOX.
It would be interesting how he originally got connected with Barton
