But I still must give FDR great credit here. He saw that Britain needed help, and so he provided it, even before Pearl Harbor. And FDR rallied the nation! Everyone was made aware: This is a fight for our vey existance.
Contrast that with W's half-hearted "Islam is Peace" remarks. If you are in a war, you had better be in it to win. FDR realized that. W did not.

But yes, FDR actually praying for victory once he got the nation going is a tremendous contrast with the half-hearted “war on terror” that refused (and refuses) to name our enemy.
