I don’t recall EITHER of those things happening.
He did re-tweet an unflattering picture of Cruz’s wife (and apologized afterwards), but I don’t know how that could be considered muddying up his marriage. And the most I heard him say about Cruz’s father was “what’s THAT all about?” in reference to the photo on the National Enquirer cover which purported to show Cruz’s father with Oswald.
Lets not pretend the Enquirer wasn’t in the Trump corner....no more or less than Levin was in Cruz’s or CNN is in Hillary’s.
