Hard to tell anything by the videos that have been released. If I was a juror I'd,obviously, want to know everything possible about the incident itself.I'd also want to know *everything* about the background of both the cop and the dead guy.Looks like the dead guy had some serious legal problems in the past.If that's true that would work pretty strongly in the cop's favor.I'd also want to hear the results of the autopsy report...particularly the toxicology report. And I would want to hear the cop testify. If she failed to do so that would work against her in my mind because if *I* was *wrongly* accused of a crime there's not a single prosecutor on earth whose questions I would fear.OTOH I'm a terrible liar so I'd refuse to testify if I knew I was guilty.

A serious criminal history for the dead guy would, unless the *cop's* background is *also* dirty, probably cause me to to vote not guilty. And that goes double if his toxicology report shows a serious problem.

May have watched too many hours of Law & Order on TV, but I doubt if any background on the dead guy would be allowed as it could be determined to be prejudicial.
