Call me old fashioned but I think if you are convicted of a felony you should not be allowed to carry a badge and a gun and be a cop ever again. (you can have a gun for self defense AFTER a period of time but never again should you be trusted to enforce the law.)

Please read the post again. It was in reference to the suspect, not the policewoman.

Nothing to do with "old-fashioned" - this has been law for a long time where prior conviction means a loss of many civil rights, not just gun ownership. Doesn't have anything to do with cop/not a cop.
