'Threat of imminent attack on US Jews is real'

Deputy Homeland Security Secretary paints grim picture of Jewish communities' vulnerability to terrorism, says leaders not doing enough.

JTA - Painting a grim picture of Jewish vulnerability in the United States, a top U.S. security official said that the vast majority of funds earmarked to secure non-profits goes to Jewish institutions because their need is most acute.

Alejandro Mayorkas, the Deputy Homeland Security Secretary, speaking Wednesday to the Orthodox Union's annual leadership mission to Washington, said rising extremism in the United States and its threat to the Jewish community keeps him awake at night.

He said the threat had shifted in the last year from the relatively small number of Americans who were radicalized overseas, to homegrown extremists whom the Islamic State terrorist group had reached through the Internet. The FBI was tracking more than one thousand suspected extremists across the United States, and they were to be found in all 50 states, he said.

"They find great access to a radicalizing Islam" on the web, Mayorkas said of the homegrown extremists. "They find what they believe is purpose and meaning in their life."

Vote Democrat. They’ll make sure there are enough terrorists to do the job.

If you are advising Jewish voters to vote Democrat, they almost always do, and will likely vote for Clinton even though her immigration policies will gravely endanger every Jew in this country. So go figure.

Jews ARE regular Americans. Have been since our nation's Founding. And incidentally, Trump's daughter and son-in-law and their kids are Jewish. Regular Americans, all. Thankfully our future President thinks more clearly about the issue than you do. If you ever meet him in person be sure to tell him your thoughts about Jews. I'd pay to see his response.

Jews aren't monolithic in either voting habits or ideology. I personally know quite a few Jews who'll be enthusiastically voting for Trump. And many, unlike you, are longtime Freepers.

I came across a number of articles, very hateful ones, against Trump and those who support...many of them were wealthy Jews, including NEOCON William Kristol.

William Kristol and Bret Stephens are a-holes. They don't represent Jews any more than Hillary Rodham and Barack Hussein Obama and Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi represent all non-Jews. For every 10 Jews you can find who write anti-Trump articles, I can find many times that number of anti-Trump articles written by non-Jews. But for some reason you only take the former personally.

I can only imagine the websites you found to conduct your "research." If you need further confirmation of and support for your views I'm sure you can find them on any number of Moslem websites. They'd be happy to take in more bedfellows.

Not that logic maters for those poisoned by grievance, but the most left-leaning cohort of American Jews are the 1/3 of Jews who are alienated from Judaism. They are followed by another 1/3 who belong to no congregation. You are saying FU to the Jews who are most likely to vote Republican.*

Actually, this changes in NYC because of the large numbers of Russian Jews, who are not religious and don't like socialism
