LOL. You give yourself away as a possible long-time resident by using the word "downtown". The hoity-toity crowd has replaced "downtown" with the term "Uptown", don't ya know.

Believe me, I’m all too familiar with the Downtown/Uptown feud going on fer years. “They” (city officials) call it Uptown. Still, on a few road signs and in daily conversation most folks call it downtown. Watch the news and you’ll see why !!
