Oh yes they do! Our daughter’s BF is from Nicaragua and is of mixed race. He’s an engineer with Apple with a degree from UC Berkeley. He get’s hassled by the cops and merchants all the time for no other reason than his color and his hair. He himself has never been in trouble with the law. So if I understand you “being hinky” is grounds for the “hinky black person” dying. Just dispicable! Try treating people as individuals for a change.

I seriously doubt that he gets hassled by cops and merchants all the time. There are thousands of Americans who fit the description of your daughter’s BF. And no doubt there are many right in your neighborhood. Are all of them being hassled because of how they look? Your whining sounds like a load of BS to me.

Really? This is not right. Unless you are doing something bad or up to no good you should not be hassled by police.
My ex husband who is white was a target for police but that is because he had a smart mouth and once he was on their radar they always hasseled him even if he wasn’t misbehaving.
