I don't think Don King has ever used notes, let a lone a teleprompter. He usually re-writes the dictionary during his talks. He is a fireball though & always has loved America.
I’ve only heard him speak a few times, but don’t recall him ever use anything - just speaks from the heart with his love for America (somewhat shown by his garb and I’ve seen him carry a US flag - he also had the flag of Israel today).
As you said - he is a fireball!
