According to the suit, filed by White’s estranged husband, Mark Burton, the actor “wrongfully and illegally” obtained the deadly opioids under the bogus name “Arthur King” and gave them to White. Additionally, Burton claimed, the comedian and his assistant failed to notify authorities of a possible overdose, even though he had White’s property under surveillance and the assistant had allegedly noticed White’s failure to emerge from the home for “well over a day.”

I had not heard about this before, so I don't know what to make of it. If these charges are true, I have no sympathy for Jim Carrey. On the other hand, this could be a case of the women's ex trying to exploit her death to get a big payday out of Carrey.
