So far this seems to be roughly following the timeline of the Boston Marathon bombing.
Suspects identified and photos released to the public a couple days after the event. Then a shootout with police. Next will come the "shelter in place" order as the remaining suspect is tracked down.

Cool. They caught the guy in the shootout. We can skip the "shelter in place" phase of the operation.
