I really disagree with that completely. A high school student? Originally the NYPD stated that the IED was put together by someone who had a knowledge of chemistry. If the bomber didn’t intend to cause harm, he wouldn’t have left it in a very crowded park with thousands of daily visitors. I don’t buy the latest theory.
AFAIK, HS Chem is strictly theoritical. ALL of the closets have been purged of chemicals.
