History would contradict you annalex. The Crusaders only gained Jerusalem for a short time. The Poles lost a reported 60,000+ men in a major defect against the Moslems or Huns in the 1600’s (A battle that is mourned in Poland for their sacrifices. I cannot remember the name of it or who the invaders specifically were.

Charles Martel, the Gates of Vienna battles (a great website on Islamic history too), and several other major Christian nations victories only stopped further Islamic advances but they never regained much of Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Romania, (if I recall properly, some Greek land/islands), etc.

THe Spanish victories over the Moslems in the 1400’s was a major victory on the Islamic threat from northern Africa, but a disaster for non-Christian peoples who had lived in the Spanish territories (remember the Inquisition? It wasn’t pretty and aimed at unarmed Jews, Moslems, and people of other beliefs).

It was only the British/Arabian peninsula principalities/monarchies/Jewish Legion victories in the British Mandate Province of Palestine that broke the back of the (Seljuk?)Turks in the Middle East.

It did give Turkey a chance to modernize and moderate under Ataturk but look at what Erdogan has done today. He is reverting back to a militant form of Islam and bringing more war and disaster to a region already seriously damaged by all kinds of wars and dictatorships.

Under the Shah, Iran was a friend. Now it is a nuclear-armed (in progress) threat to all of the Middle East, Europe, parts of Africa, Asia Minor, and even the US, and no Christian army is around to stop them.

Obama the ursurper Marxist Moslem isn’t going to stop them. Hillary the Marxist Crook isn’t going to stop them. The Brits are out of it. France is asleep again. Germany is being overwhelmed by Moslems, as is Italy, Greece, and even Sweden.

If there is going to be a Christian Army to “retake Christian lands”, it isn’t around today and won’t be around tomorrow.

The Nineveh Plain NPU is an attempt by outnumbered Christians to protect their own turf, as are the Kurds doing in Iraq and Syria, but they are outnumbered, out-armed, and surrounded.

There are no Western saviors in sight, no Charles Martels to “hammer” the enemy, and least we forget, Russia’s Putin is up to his asshole in Iranian and Syrian affairs, being the major weapons supplies, are well as supplier of key military units and air units, just like he is doing in Christian Ukraine (where he is winning in most places - No major outside Christian Army is coming to their aid, esp. if the Democrats keep the White House and part of Congress).

Reality is a bitch and without strong leaders of any positive religion(s) to lead us, the West is in very deep trouble.

Venezuela, a nearly totally Christian nation is run by the communists. So to is Bolivia, Ecuador and until recently, Brazil. Nicaragua is run by the Sandinista reds; Cuba is run by the reds. El Salvador is run by former FLMN Marxists.

Where are the Simon Bolivars and Jose Martins of Latin America? Dead, in jail, or in exile, but not leading the Christian Army against the communists or Islamists.

Houston, we have a problem.

Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Romania, also Greece and Armenia are Christian nations now.

The Turks only exist as a nation because we stupidly propped them up.

In the meanwhile there is a realization among the Arab Christians that if they are to survive and prosper, they need to fight for themselves. Which is what they are doing.

What the outcomes of that be, I don’t know, but I know that God is with them.
