Nope, caved to pressure.

Could have just said. “Obama is not the 2016 candidate for office, and from here will no longer address or take questions on the issue.”

Well what he did left them crushed more so than if he would have done it the way you would have done it.

One thing he did is to expose how despicable the media is you could see it.

It just makes me loathe them that much more including Fox news.

This has its roots in Matt Lauer's Commander-In-Chief forum on NBC.

Trump had a list of military endorsements he wanted people to know about, but Lauer would have none of it. Instead, Lauer tried to portray Trump as inexperienced and not having the temperament to be CIC, something Trump hoped to counter with his list of endorsements.

So Trump used the stunt yesterday to get his message out about the military endorsements, mentioning the "birther" stuff at the very end.

Even further he could have adressed these questions in a more truthful and straight-forward method by stating the following:

“Obama is not the 2016 candidate for office, and from here I will no longer address or take questions on the issue.

And furthermore why try and deflect the real current issue at front here that Hillary Clinton, who she herself advocated and pushed the healthcare issue, is now going out potentially exposing the public and her own supporters to a contagious infectious disease, whether in the bacterial or viral form.”

End of sample statement.

Wrong. That leaves open the media’s claim Trump is a “birther” and the issue would continue to be in play. By saying Obama was born in the USA he takes that away from the media as an issue. Plus the rerun of the 2008 video and stories of the accusations by the Obama campaign accusing Clinton of releasing the photos of Obama in Kenyan dress robes has now resurfaced along with the stories of Clinton campaign workers actually admitting they spread the story around.

Trump, if smart will continue to say exactly what he said yesterday when asked about this. He said, (paraphrase)”I have said all I have to say about this and have moved on to discussing the important issues of creating jobs and immigration”

The Libs are simply hoping to draw Trump into a back and forth fight on this silly issue and all Trump needs to do is nothing at this time because he has already made his statement.

Had he said that the MSM would have felt justified and would have doubled down. In stead of slapping them in the face he unlatched the trap door under them.
