Today at his brand new Trump International Hotel in Washington D.C., Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump proved once again he is a master manipulator of media.
This week the birther issue has come up again, as President Barack Obama gets ready to leave the White House in five months. Hillary Clinton and her allies at certain media outlets believe it's an issue on which they can yet again accuse Trump of racism, so it's been the topic of the week: When is Donald Trump finally going to admit Barack Obama was born in the United States?

And it’s so obviously been totally coordinated between the democrat party and their media whores. They’ve been leading the news with it every half hour and that’s here in the DFW metro on WBAP which broadcasts Rush and Levin. Now they’ve added a solemn statement that there is no proof that the birther issue started with the Clinton campaign.
What Trump said at the end is what matters. He said that Hillary Clinton brought up the issue in 2008 and he settled it in 2011. He went on to say that Obama was born in the USA. Period. (end of conversation) See: Obama Birth Certificate Released By White House
Now, the only people talking about Obama (in the media) not being born in the USA will be Hitlery and the LSM.
The brilliance of his move was that he's effectively taken this issue off the table for discussion. If Hitlery or the LSM bring it up again, he can call them birthers.
Yes, yes, I know that Obama was not born in the USA and should not have been elected President, but that was then. This is now.
In the end, Trump has removed this as a talking-point from the DNC and LSM for the remainder of this election cycle. (Imagine playing chess and toppling another knight or rook, further crippling your opponent's ability to attack/counter-attack -- as has been said, Trump is playing 3D Chess and his opponents are playing tiddly-winks)

I still have my doubts any debates will happen. I don’t think they can trust her in the lights for that long. She might stiffen up.

What Trump did was highly symbolic and significant for the grunts, airmen and sailors and very bad news for all the perfumed, wimpy generals and admirals that President Buckwheat appointed.
If his father is who he claims, a Kenyan national and at the time, a British subject, then Obama is not a natural born citizen, regardless of where he was born.
He could have been born in Canada and be as eligible as Ted Cruz, NOT eligible.

The Constitution says natural born citizen.
That means one who is naturally an American because they couldn’t be anything else, born here of citizen parents.
Everyone in DC wanted that changed without the hassle of amending the Constitution.
The Senate passed a resolution declaring McCain a natural born citizen because he had TWO citizen parents, even though he was born in Panama.
Then Obama runs and wins based on just being born here, even though he told us on his website he was born a British subject.
So the standard went from born here of citizen parents to just TWO citizen parents to just being born here in one election cycle without amending the Constitution.
This was done intentionally because Rubio (no citizen parents), Cruz (foreign birth, one citizen parent), Jindal (no citizen parents), and Haley (no citizen parents) were all ineligible and the future of the GOP.
The truth of the Kenyanesian Usurpation will never see the light of day because they all cooperated in the violation of the Constitution.

I agree with you that obummer is illegitimate (the guy with how many social security numbers?) but the damage is done and Trump wants to move forward. First we have to win the war. Then we can do clean up.

oh, Trump had the best 24 hours, from the media being delayed last night getting to his NH rally and his denying their request to hold up the rally a half hour “Absolutely Not” he told them. Then this magnificent coup at Trump Intl in DC wiht the MOH awardees and 2 brief sentences on the birther question, throwing the blame to Hillary! and wrapping up the night in Miami with Les Deplorables. Just magnifique.
Exactly. The Medal of Honor warriors were very articulate and powerful speakers. Unfortunately the media is so small minded that they missed the Message, the Wisdom and the Honor part.

Trump has all the right enemies; the media, the democrats and the establishment RINO’s. He is simply beyond gifted the way he drives everybody to cover what he wants to talk about.
