Claim: A 1991 literary promotional booklet identified Barack Obama as having been born in Kenya.
Example: [Collected via e-mail, May 2012]
Breitbart News has obtained a promotional booklet produced in 1991 by Barack Obama's then-literary agency, Acton & Dystel, which touts Obama as "born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii."
The booklet, which was distributed to "business colleagues" in the publishing industry, includes a brief biography of Obama among the biographies of eighty-nine other authors represented by Acton & Dystel.
ORIGIN:In May 2012 the web site Breitbart published a copy of a promotional booklet produced in 1991 by the literary agency Acton & Dystel showcasing their roster of writers, among whom was a young man named Barack Obama. This booklet was of particular interest because it included a brief biographical sketch which described the future President as having been born in Kenya:

All highly likely. Add to that the fact that the National Archive documentation of foreign arrivals to HI was stolen/destroyed for the week of Obama’s supposed birth. Whose arrival in HI during that week was so damaging to the Obama narrative that the National Archives had to be vandalized.
Granny Dunham returning from Canada, most likely. It was customary for a mother to be on hand for her daughter’s first delivery, if at all possible, in those days. Expectant mothers were often sedated, and the baby delivered via forceps. Complications were not uncommon.
Perhaps that is so, but her document from the University says August 19. Perhaps that is the day she enrolled or something, but it doesn't really matter because her friend Susan Blake says she saw Stanley Ann in August.

So does it matter if the baby was two weeks, three weeks, or even a month? It would still be too young to fly.
How did Stanley Ann get to Seattle from Hawaii with a 2 week- 1 month old baby?
Yeah pretty much.
Except I believe Panama was a protectorate, subject to “US jurisdiction”. Eligible or not, McCain sucked way too much to serve as CIC.
Oh, so Maraniss confirms that Stanley Ann lived with the baby at the birth announcement address?
You either haven’t read the book or you’re lying.
I'm throwing a flag. Newbies don't just show up and suddenly know where are the links to refute this stuff. Something smells a little bit Hooky if you ask me.
Since this is back in the news, Obama trolls have reason to come back out of the woodwork.
Look, you are an Obama shill posting on a conservative site. The burden is on you, if you want to make the case that Obama is a truthful and honest person. How about citing a non-lie from Dreams? If Obama is not a pathological liar, that shouldn’t be difficult. Go for it.
He’s an Obot troll,100%.

I remember when Obama ran for Senator from Illinois. The MSM at that time was agog that a person “BORN IN KENYA” could run for Senator, showing how great America was!
Probably, but i'm not of a mind to go searching for it because it's in the Freeper archives from back in 2008-2009.
I might post an article asking whomever brought forth this information originally to identify it, but I can attest that I've seen the documentation myself, complete with flight schedules, ticket prices, and the Airline company logos of the time period.
FantasyWriter, do you remember this stuff? Let me see if I can remember the names of some prominent birther Freepers who might remember where this stuff got put.
We can probably figure this out some way or another. For example, United currently doesn't allow infants younger than 7 days old.
Incubation and infants under seven days oldUnited does not accept infants in incubators or infants younger than seven days old.
So there is our baseline.
The rules were at least that stringent in 1961, and according to the literature I have seen, far more stringent than that.
We'll have to see if we can find it.
You come onto a conservative site, spread lies, and disparage anyone who won’t do your research for you. SMH.
‘Maraniss hints at where home was not — namely, the residence her parents shared with the Pratt family at 6085 Kalanianole Highway, the address listed on the birth certificate. As Maraniss relates, the Pratt daughter, then an adolescent, “has no memory of the Dunhams’ daughter bringing an infant home.” He adds, “[Ann] and Obama and the infant never lived [at 6085 Kalanianole].”’
Would ya believe; eight Hawaiian natives rowing a dugout?
