I doubt if Trump would pursue it. Why would he?

You're not going to automatically overturn anything he did, even if you prove he wasn't eligible. Congress seated him. And Congress gave their consent for the Supreme Court Justices. And Hawaii is on record saying he was born there, even if they can't prove it.

You would anger all remaining Obama supporters.
It would be hard to prosecute those that aided and abedded.
It would be a major distraction to Trump’s agenda.
It would be hard to prosecute Obama. All he has to do is say, I thought I was born in Hawaii.

As much as I would love to see Obama held to account, I agree with you. Especially because it would further inflame the racial tension in the U.S. (which Obama has encouraged, IMO).

Nothing good can come of that.

However, perhaps some legislation to ensure that a presidential candidate is a natural born citizen would be a good idea.

I don’t know if that has to be a Constitutional amendment, however.
