No there’s a perfectly good reason if he was born abroad for that announcement: citizenship. You have to go into “the rabbit hole” on this, but according to the law at the time he was born, his birth to a foreign father and an American mother if it occurred abroad would not have qualified him for U.S. citizenship. But . . . Hawaii, being a pretty Third World place and brand new state as of 1961, allowed parents to file births at home with not much scrutiny. We know for a fact that his grandparents and mother did in fact live in Hawaii, so if he was born abroad, they could’ve filed a birth at home in order to qualify him for U.S. citizenship, and that birth at home would’ve automatically generated an announcement in the Advertiser.
So, I would put money that the original document on file there is a birth at home certificate, but of course, they could never reveal that because it would just generate more questions than answers, so first was the computer-generated certification (that said yes born in Hawaii, but not details on exactly where) and then the forgery.
Assuming everything you say is true, how could Obama’s mother and grandparents KNOW for sure that the baby for whom they were creating a fraudulent birth record was destined to be President?
“his grandparents and mother did in fact live in Hawaii,”
His other grandparents, on his father’s side, lived in Africa and his grandmother has said that she was there when he was born — in Kenya.
Also, the mother was underage, which did not immediately confer citizenship.
