Homeowner kills apparent home invasion suspect in Gwinnett County

Gwinnett County police are combing part of a neighborhood after they said a homeowner shot and killed someone breaking into their house.
Officers responded to the house in the 3000 block of Spring Drive after the shooting, which they said happened just before 4 a.m. Friday.
They said preliminary investigation indicates the homeowner shot someone who was breaking in to the house. The apparent home invasion suspect was dead on the scene, police said.
They said multiple people were in the house at the time. They said it is unclear whether the person who was protecting their home is a male or female.
They are processing the scene.
We have a reporter and photographer at the scene gathering information about what happened.

We are in Gwinnett. We got a knock on the door at 3:00 AM recently then a week or so later my Mom who lives across the street called saying somebody was knocking on her door at 5:30 AM. We came hauling out of our house with flash!nights and guns. Its been real quiet ever since.

Thanks. I think we went a little further East of Atlanta the last time. We vary a bit timing wise from trip to trip. Usually because of the time of day that we actually leave home.
It is a 2-1/2 day drive for us. My wife insists on driving, smile. I traveled for a living for over 30 years, but she is paranoid of anyone else driving. And she has refused to fly for most of the 45 years we have been married. I have avoided flying because of the hassle with the TSA idiots.

on voting fraud - theoretical case, take dekalb county. Voted 78% for 0bama and is 54% black with some precincts running a lot higher than that. Where do they get the poll workers? From the local citizenry. Odds are that the local will be a democrat, so at a little democrat party get together before the election where the democrat poll workers meet with the democrat party ward heelers, they get told not to look too hard at the picture id of blacks, just make sure the name is on the list of registered voters (which will include a fair percentage of dead people voting from beyond the grave) figuring that most of the cheats will be cheating in favor of the democrat and most of the cheats will be black. Corruption of the system is easy enough in an environment where most of the people are from one party - the democrat party
His name was removed, but in the democrat peoples’ democracy of MD where he’s buried, I’m sure he managed to reregister.
So be sure the name is removed from the rolls.
