I wouldn’t mind having those numbers (except for the ht.and wt.) and I’m a healthy woman, 8 years younger. I wonder why they have him on statins though. Statins can cause dementia. His cholesterol is fine.

There are some interesting new studies re low dose statins reducing the damage caused by inflammation and inflammation by products in those of us with no familial cardiac history beyond what the daily baby aspirin can do. Also, a possible benefit for those of us with sleep apnea.

In August, I went on the same Statin drug Trump is on, with a low daily dose for that possible extra anti inflamatory protection.
There is no familial history of early heart attacks or strokes, and I told my doctor no before, when he tried to put me on statins to prevent an early heart attack when I was in my mid 70’s.
Also, my CRP is very low like Trumps, .15 to .27. Which many cardiologists feel is much more important than cholesterol levels in predicting adverse cardiac events.
After a year on the Paleo diet morphing into the Mediterranean/Dash diet I lost 50+ pounds and discontinued my antihypertensive. My bp is about the same as Trumps. My echo cardio test was so improved, my Cardio Doc went from every year to every other year.
The weight gain was from severe foot problems with bunions and hammer toes and not being able to walk a mile for about 6 months post op.
