That shoe looks quite different, but perhaps it looks different in a close-up shot? *shrugs*

They're the same type of shoe, but the coloration is different. Your guess is as good as mine! :-)

Does dementia interfere with either temperature regulation or perception of temperature? I did a quick search, but can’t find an answer.

Top of my head: some sort of circulatory system issue makes her feel cold, no matter the external temperature?

I have mild peripheral neuropathy and my feet will often feel cold. She is in air conditioning most of the time, I assume, which can make that worse.

Still, I’m puzzled by her wardrobe, too.
