“48 hours to report a lost or stolen gun.”
Aside from obvious cases, how do the pigs PROVE that you knew a gun was missing for more than 48 hours...when you it could be missing for months, but you never even noticed?
I guess if the gun is used in the commission of a crime and it could be traced to the original owner, then the cops know that the gun has been missing for more than 48 hours.
