NFL Idiots Dissing Our National Anthem Is Another Reason Why Trump Will Win!
American Thinker ^ | September 14, 2016 | Lloyd Marcus

Posted on 09/14/2016 8:51:58 AM PDT by Kaslin

My intention was to enjoy a leisurely Sunday afternoon on my sofa watching NFL football. Outrageously, players on both teams, Miami vs Seattle, protested our National Anthem. I became extremely angry. I could not stomach watching these highly paid, arrogant, ungrateful, spoiled-brat idiots play football. I yelled to Mary in another room, “Honey, get dressed. I'm taking you to dinner!”

For crying out loud, here we are on the anniversary of 9/11. These morons showed no respect for their country, nor the 3000 Americans murdered by Islamic terrorists on this day 15 years ago. Why are NFL coaches allowing players to run their teams? Coaches should say, “Express your political views off the field. Anyone who does not stand for the National Anthem will be benched for this game.”

Due to public schools teaching that America is the greatest source of evil in the world, high school athletes have joined pro athletes in protesting our National Anthem.

Ponder this, folks. The NFL punishes players with a penalty for celebrating/dancing too much after scoring a touchdown. And yet, when it comes to disrespecting our National Anthem the NFL feels it must respect player's freedom of expression.

There is an old saying, “You get what you tolerate.” What next? Will the NFL allow players to burn U.S. flags during games? The swiftly growing anti-National Anthem and anti-law enforcement movements are tied together, birthed out of Black Lives Matter's evil lie that America oppresses blacks and police murder blacks.

No one should stop anyone from trying to improve our country by standing up for what they think.

Who's stopping them?

“My intention was to enjoy a leisurely Sunday afternoon on my sofa watching NFL football.”

There is the first problem that needs rectification! These indolent idiots who waste their time watching “professional sports” while sitting in front of their TV’s drinking beer and blowing farts need a political attitude adjustment. Either that, or they need to give up their right to vote.

If this is free speech, then so is the wearing of a solidarity patch the Cowboys wanted to do with the Dallas police, which the NFL forbade; or wearing special cleats to commemorate 9/11, and to later be auctioned for charity— which the NFL forbade and threatened to fine the athlete. So, this is hypocrisy not free speech. And, it is really not a free speech issue. Free speech does not mean you can say anything you want at any time and anywhere without repercussion. It means that the GOVERNMENT cannot be the instrument of any repercussion. The NFL could do anything it wanted since Kapernick et all are “on the job”

People can’t get enough of the NFL. We’re stuck with this crap. Will it help Trump? I think so. The bathroom controversy in N.C. also. NEITHER HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH HER THIGHNESS. Will Kapernick end his ‘protest’? Yes-when Pink October begins and the NFL decides breast cancer trumps BLM.

I usually buy the NFL Redzone channel for football season. I refuse to watch even one minute of an NFL game after these overgrown children started acting stupid. I only hope millions of people join me in sending the league a message. SCREW YOU NFL.

I am going to wait a few weeks until the NHL season starts.

The Canadians, Russians and Swedes who play there always stand respectfully for our anthem.

Yes, there is going to be a patriotic backlash from this.

The solution is really simple if Goodella actually WANTS a solution: Make the teams stay inside the locker rooms until decent people have a chance to show respect to their country.

Again, the solution is relative simple: There is not EVER going to be a wholesale protest of the NFL, HOWEVER, many of us have started boycotting the Sports shows that have given idiots like Kaepernick a platform.....Starve the pre-game, post-game, daily sports shows of viewership and they will soon realize that it’s us middle-aged white guys who are making billions for the league NOT women or transies.

No one seems to want to highlight the positive:

He’s also a San Fran player but you don’t see this in the news.

Paying more for Chevys, Bud and pizza, for the ‘privilege’ of watching grown men get dirty rich for playing with balls, while other grown men get dirty rich talking about the men playing with balls...well...maybe I got something better to do with my time...

Depends on what news, or cable news channel you’re watching. Fox News certainly did report it and showed videos of it.
