I seem to recall McPain referring to TheWon/Obama as ‘that one’, maybe ‘that man’. Fairly sure it was in a debate. I remember cringing uncontrollably, often my reaction to McPain. Fairly sure it briefly got headlines. McPain’s second POTUS run was brief in so many ways, or was it his third? I can’t keep track. Does anyone recall his comment?

You are correct. I recall it, too, because McPain referred to Obama as "THAT ONE!!!" when I'm sure his handlers made him aware that the mocking term used for his rival was "The One."

Was it arrogance or tone-deafness or just plain thick-headedness that made him do that? Plus, he said it while pointing at Obama, as if he were saying, "J'accuse!" There was real tension in his voice as well.

All around bad display. What a fool McShame is. If it were not for Sarah on the ticket, I would've stayed home on Election Day.
