The film’s core premise is that it's possible to change a person's sex without altering their gender No. The most you can accomplish is to physically mutilate them to resemble someone of the opposite sex/gender. Gender/sex is set before birth, when that male or female sperm meets that egg. It is one of the most fundamental aspects of our physical being.
I had no desire to see this movie, and still don't.
